Future Climate Files for Commercial Building Energy Modelling
Overview
On behalf of the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISER) DeltaQ has conducted a research into the impact of using future climate files for commercial building energy modelling. The research identified that the impact of using future climate files on building design was substantial, as under projected conditions, building cooling requirements will increase and heating requirements will decrease. Key recommendations were made in the report and presented in the webinar.
Outcomes
Contribute to professional development of sustainability consultants.
Relevance
The participant will learn the significant impact of climate change in consumption of commercial building. The importance of using future climate files will be explained based on the research conducted.
