Overview

At our next Spotlight event we will be joined by Alison Collins, Team Leader of Planning Reform at DPTI, and Deborah Davidson, Director at dsquared Consulting, to discuss big picture considerations being implemented here in South Australia to drive a more sustainable future.

Outcomes

Creating sustainable built environments across South Australia will require big picture thinking, policies and planning for developments yet to be built. Successfully integrating sustainable outcomes at the planning level will help urban environments reduce environmental impact, be more resilient to climate change and establish healthier, more liveable urban areas to improve the welfare of South Australians.

Relevance

All of it is relevant to sustainability in the built environment.

Ken is a Sustainability Consultant at dsquared Consulting and is the Chairperson of the Adelaide Sustainable Building Network. Ken’s experience encompasses multiple facets of sustainable design consultancy to projects of all scales. This includes design optimisation, building performance simulation, green building ratings and life cycle analysis. He has qualifications in Architecture, Sustainable Design and Ecologically Regenerative Design.
