Do Class 3 projects have to use Class 2 requirements for HVAC reference systems?

No. Reference building HVAC systems that are used for this credit should be selected based on which pathway is most relevant to the proposed HVAC system type i.e., Class 3 spaces are not required to use the residential pathway if other compliance pathways or modelling parameters are deemed more relevant to the project. Clear justification must be provided in the submission.
