I have a GSAP accreditation for a New Generation rating tool; can I use this for a Future Focus project?

Yes, in certain circumstances only. Green Star Accredited Professionals (GSAPs) who have a valid accreditation under the GSAP program for a New Generation rating tool may use this certification when targeting the Green Star Accredited Professional criteria under the Industry Development credit from a Future Focus rating tool on the condition that no more than one (1) year has lapsed since the first Green Star Advanced course for the Future Focus rating tool was offered.

This is subject to the following deadlines:

Green Star - Design & As Built Green Star Buildings

Surpassed. More than one year has elapsed since the first Green Star Buildings advanced course was offered. 

To claim Green Star Accredited Professional criteria under the Industry Development credit from Green Star Buildings, accreditation must be shown for Green Star Buildings GSAP status.

Green Star - Performance v1.2 Green Star Performance v2

28th August 2025.

To claim Green Star Accredited Professional criteria under the Industry Development credit from Green Star Performance v2 after this date, accreditation must be shown for Green Star Performance v2 GSAP status.

Beyond the deadline, evidence of valid Future Focus GSAP credentials must be supplied.
