Green Star FAQs
Are all types of wayfinding solutions required for projects targeting Diverse Wayfinding?
No. The GBCA clarifies that all four wayfinding solutions, visual, physical, olfactory, and auditory, do not need to be included in all projects targeting the Diverse Wayfinding criteria under the Design for Inclusion credit from Green Star Buildings v1. Instead, the solutions delivered should be designed to cater to the expected occupants of the building. The locations and solutions used should help individuals safely navigate through common areas and to amenities and bathroom facilities. Project teams may use different solutions or different combinations of solutions in different locations based on the expected occupants.
