The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Environment and Heritage has released its report into Sustainable Cities, recommending the establishment of an Australian Sustainability Charter that sets key national targets across a number of areas, including water, transport, building design and planning. The Sustainable Cities report is a fantastic bipartisan supported vision for Australia. The Green Building Council will be reviewing the 32 Recommendations and making comments which will be available for review in the coming weeks.
