Briefing on the Nature Roadmap discussion paper for the supply chain
Green Building Council of Australia is developing a Nature Roadmap to direct the built environment sector towards generating places that actively contribute to the protection and enhancement of nature and biodiversity.
In March 2024, we began this important conversation with the launch of our first Discussion paper: A Nature Roadmap for the Built Environment which evaluates environmental risks and opportunities, explores innovative concepts for nature regeneration, and underscores the collaborative roles required for success. Now, we have released a companion piece specifically for the supply chain. This discussion paper seeks feedback from manufacturers, suppliers and certification schemes for building materials and products within the built environment.
Join this webinar as we explore:
- International frameworks and national legislation relevant to nature.
- Implications for the supply chain
- Nature and Green Star’s Responsible Product Guidelines
- The role of certification initiatives
Read the supply chain discussion paper here.
Speakers:
- Katherine Featherstone, Senior Manager Products & Materials, GBCA
- Rebecca Pettit, Green Star Program Lead, GBCA
Consultation on the supply chain paper closes 31 July 2024.
